Welcome to the Fort Worth Rowing Club
The Fort Worth Rowing Club, a member of the United State Rowing Association (USRA) since 1991, rows on the Trinity River from the Beach Street boathouse east of downtown Fort Worth. The rowing club promotes rowing for recreation and fitness, and is open to members of all ages. FWRC's goal is to promote rowing in the Fort Worth area at both the junior and masters level for recreation and competition. More specifically, it is the club's goal to establish, promote, and support: Boy Scout merit badge rowing , local college/high school rowing programs, masters rowing and competitive regattas.Rowing is a full body exercise that not only provides health benefits but a friendly competitive atmosphere. FWRC participates in competitive master's regattas in Austin, Dallas, Oklahoma City, The Woodlands, and Houston as well as attending the annual US Rowing Masters Nationals regatta.
